Welcome to InTheMix with Rafia!  We are very honored to be joined by Scott Bowling, the president and CEO of the Exceptional Children's Foundation.

ECF was founded in 1946 by a group of parents and activist who wanted to create an alternative to institutional care for their loved ones with development disabilities.  Over the years ECF has expanded and grown from just focusing on early intervention and actually helping its students throughout their lives.  It is the only center in California that offers lifespan services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
